How We Use Your Support

We’re a volunteer-powered gem of a club, dedicated to sharing our passion and knowlege of geology and the lapidary arts with the Bay Area. From running a workshop filled with all kinds of stone-working tools, to hands-on classes, our team of dedicated volunteers works tirelessly to bring our amazing resources to the Bay.

 

Your donation directly fuels:

• 🛠️ A hands-on workshop where anyone can learn stone and metalworking

• 📚 Educational programs for schools and community centers

• 🎓 Lapidary classes that teach skills and spark lifelong passions

• 🌄 Field trips and fun events that connect everyone from jewelers to rockhounds

• 💎 Our annual Gem Show, a celebration of creativity, science, and the treasures of the Earth

 

We also use your support to keep our doors open, maintain and upgrade tools, stock materials, and donate supplies to budding enthusiasts who are just starting their journey.
